Guided hiking expedition in the centre region of Portugal, where participants will find the best landscapes and unique mountain villages.

Target: Program to small groups of friends with a maximum of 10 to 20 participants.

Description: Guided hiking expedition with some of the best Portuguese guides in the centre region of Portugal with the best landscapes of Serra da Lousã and Serra do Açor (Central ridge of Portugal) and the Schist Villages, a dazzling set of 26 mountain villages with tremendous natural and architectural beauty and breathtaking landscapes. Daily routes of 7 to 16 km that link the 9 Schist Villages of the region. The routes are guided, so participants will have the advantage of acquiring all the details about the mountain culture and the traditional activities related with grazing cattle, the crops of corn and rye, the importance of the chestnut, the wooden ovens and the mills, used to produce typical bread, among others. At the end of the program, participants will have the opportunity to learn how to make goat cheese and the typical bread of corn and rye -''broa''- in one of the Schist Villages Aigra Nova.

Includes: 6d/5n program with accommodation in rural tourism houses with breakfast and dinner included.
